1602 adopt the standard 16 pin interface.
First feet: VSS for ground power supply
Second feet: VDD connect 5V positive power supply.
The third foot: V0 is the LCD contrast adjustment terminal, the contrast is the weakest when the positive power supply is connected, the contrast is the highest when the grounding power supply is connected, the "ghost" will appear when the contrast is too high, and the contrast can be adjusted by a 10K potentiometer when used.
Feet 4: RS is the register selection, high level selection data register, low level selection instruction register.
Fifth feet: R/W reads and writes signal lines, reads at high power and writes at low power. When RS and RW are low level, they can write instructions or display addresses. When RS is low level, RW is high level, they can read busy signals. When RS is high level, RW is low level, they can write data.
The sixth leg: the E terminal is the enabling terminal, and when the E terminal is turned from high level to low power, the LCD module executes the command.
Seventh to 14 feet: D0 to D7 is 8 bit bidirectional data line.
Fifteenth feet: backlight power supply positive pole
Sixteenth feet: backlight power supply negative pole
