An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a piece of critical equipment that alternates the source of power, between utility power and backup power, ensuring power systems stay online.
It switches the source of power between the primary (utility/ grid) and secondary (backup /generator) when there is an abnormal condition e.g. Power loss, over/under voltage, over/under frequency, loss of phase and other abnormal conditions.

17 Phase Isolation Design. Each phase is molded and enclosed separately in an insulated 1-phase structure.
18 Safe Terminals. Phases designed with one dynamic and two static electrical contacts in a “V” shape structure, to give adequate contact pressure and maintain safe conducting performance, eliminating short-circuiting.
19 2-Coil design. With simple operation mode using 2 coils, each coil operated independently by each of the two power sources.
20 Power Saving. The coil is in an instantaneous excitation mode with very little power consumption. The controller is powered by DC 8.0V~35.0V. It enters power-save mode after two minutes of inactivity.
21 Longer Operation Life. Each coil is energized only for the period of transfer which can extremely extend the life.
22 Scheduled Run, start generator set once a day/week/month with/without load.
23 Battery Charger. Keeps the generator battery on float charge and prevents run-down.
24 With RS485 isolated communication interface. Remote telemetry and control using the ModBus communication protocol can remote start/stop the gen-set and remote control the ATS to close or open.
