About Frank H. Netter
Frank H. Netter was an American surgeon and medical illustrator. A graduate of the National Academy of Design, he went on to study medicine at New York University and had his surgical internship at Bellevue Hospital.
He was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Medical Illustrators, the Honorary Award for Contribution to Knowledge of Musculoskeletal System from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and an Award of Special Recognition from the Association of Medical Illustrators.
