M *Description:* Calpol Sugar Free Paracetamol Suspension is used for the relief of fever as well as headaches, toothaches, earaches, teething, sore throats, colds and influenza, aches and pains and post-immunisation fever. *Dosage:* The dosage for Calpol Sugar Free Paracetamol Suspension is as follows:- For babies of 2-3 months, no more than two doses should be given, with a minimum of 4 hours between doses- For children of 3-6 months, the dose is 2.5 ml, which can be given up to four times a day- For children of 6-24 months, the dose is 5 ml, which can be given up to four times a day- For children of 2-4 years, the dose is 7.5 ml (5 ml + 2.5 ml), which can be given up to four times a day- For children of 4-6 years, the dose is 10 ml (5 ml + 5 ml), which can be given up to four times a day *Side Effects:* Common side effects of Calpol Sugar Free Paracetamol Suspension include:- Blood disorder (including thrombocytopenia and agranulocytosis)- Anaphylactic reaction- Liver injury- Rash- Nephropathy toxic- Renal papillary necrosis- Transaminases increased *Contraindications:* Calpol Sugar Free Paracetamol Suspension is contraindicated in patients with:- Known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any other excipients- Severe renal or hepatic impairment- Chronic alcoholism- Hereditary problems of fructose intolerance- Severe hypersensitivity reactions- Metabolic acidosis
