It answers these questions: Who started what? How did it get started? Who got hurt, and how many people got killed? What did Christians do? What about the Muslims? What did the government do about it? Or the police?
Dr. Jan H. Boer (Ph.D – Amsterdam) has worked in Nigeria for a total of thirty years. He has served the Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria, TEKAN (Fellowship of the Churches of Christ in Nigeria), the institute of Church and Society, Christian Council of Nigeria, and Christian Health Association of Nigeria. He taught for some years at the Theological College of Northern Nigeria. He has written several books and numerous articles, mostly on social issues. He is now retired, continuing his research and writing in Vancouver, Canada, with occasional trips back to Nigeria.
