This ESP8266 Node MCU Wifi Breadboard Expansion Shield is a breadboard for the LOLIN NodeMCU Development Board ESP8266 for Arduino IDE. It facilitates the connection of the ESP8266 NodeMcu Lua wifi module.
It has goldpin pins, expanding the capabilities of the base module. It has DC 5,5/2,1 mm connector, it can provide power supply of 3 V, 5 V or input voltage. The board is powered with voltage from 6 V to 24 V. Please note that this breadboard has a pin spacing of 28MM between the rows unlike the unit made by DOIT which has 23 MM. This is compatible with the LOLIN NodeMCU not the DOIT device.
It has a separate power input through a 2.1mm jack with onboard power regulation (6-24v DC).
Application:V3 ESP8266 (not compatibile with V2)
NodeMCU is an open source development board and firmware based in the widely used . It allows you to program the ESP8266 WiFi module with the simple Arduino IDE.
With just a few lines of code you can establish a WiFi connection and define input/output pins according to your needs exactly like arduino, turning your ESP8266 into a web server and a lot more. It is the WiFi equivalent of ethernet module. Now you have internet of things (iot) real tool.
With its USB-TTL , the nodeMCU Dev board supports directly flashing from USB port. It combines features of WIFI accesspoint and station + microcontroller. These features make the NodeMCU extremly powerful tool for Wifi networking. It can be used as access point and/or station, host a webserver or connect to internet to fetch or upload data.
