Self Emulsifying Wax N flakes are anionic, composed of 90% Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol and 10% Sodium Cetylstearyl Sulfate derived from vegetable oils (coconut / palm kernel).

Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate (EU, CTFA) is a combination of Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate to make an ionic self-emulsifying base specifically for oil and water cosmetic lotions and creams. It is PEG-free and gluten-free, and is approved by Ecocert for use as an ingredient in natural and organic cosmetics.
Appearance: Solid white flakes with little to no odor.
Uses: Self Emulsifying Wax N is best suited for viscosity regulation in cosmetic oil / water emulsions. Examples include creams, lotions, body butters, conditioners, face cleansers and baby products.
Directions for Use: Approximately 25-30% of the total oil phase (please run test batches when formulating).
Compatibility: It is compatible with most animal, vegetable and mineral waxes and a large variety of natural and synthetic resins.
