Easy Cook Long Grain Rice 5kg

All the delicious taste of original Long Grain but with improved holding and regeneration, plus all the nutrition is kept locked in. Great for use in stir fries or one-pot meals. For best results, Tilda recommends reheating cooked rice in either a pressure steamer or a microwave. Steamers - Transfer cooked rice to perforated trays and reheat for about 8 minutes on High (based on 4 kilos of cooked rice). For smaller amounts adjust times accordingly. Microwaves - Place cooked rice on a lightly greased microwaveable tray and cover. Reheat on Full power, stir well and serve. Timings Guide - (based on 1000w microwave) 4 servings (600g/24oz) 7 minutes from frozen; 3 minutes from chilled. Individual Portions - These can be reheated directly on serving plates for at least 1 minute, but will need longer if reheated with stews or sauces. Always ensure pre-cooked rice is thoroughly reheated. Portion Control (Uncooked weights per serving). Allow 50 g when using rice as an accompaniment. Allow 40 g in a mixed salad. Allow 75 g as a main meal, e.g. Pilaffs and Paellas. Hob (from ambient) - Bring a large pan of water to the boil. Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of salt if liked. When boiling, tip in the rice.
