Description

Amatem Softgel is a fixed dose antimalarial therapy, it is an Artemisinin-based Combination Therapy (ACT) combining Artemether, an artemisinin derivative, and Lumefantrine, a synthetic antimalarial drug. It is available as Amatem forte softgel x6.

Each Softgel contains Artemether 80mg and Lumefantrine 480mg

Direction for Use: Total softgels to taken is 6 over a period of 3 days. To be taken by individuals above the body weight of 35Kg. One softgel to be taken at 0 hour and Second gel should be taken 8 hours after the first , the third softgel should be taken 24hours after the first and 12 hours subsequently.

For example: Day 1: 6am : 1st dose

2pm : 2nd dose

Day 2: 6am : 3rd dose

6pm : 4th dose

Day 3 : 6am : 5th dose

6pm : 6th dose

Indication: It is indicated as a first line for the treatment of uncomplicated Malaria.

If symptoms of malaria persists after treatment, please consult your doctor.
