The HP LTO-1 Ultrium Data Cartridge or C7971A is suitable for read and write in all LTO1 Ultrium1 drives, and also suitable for read/write in LTO2 drives and read only in LTO3 drives. Extreme environmental, drop, shock, and vibration tested, the tape is HP guaranteed for an archival life of 30 years.

HP Ultrium data cartridges feature active internal head cleaning, self-diagnostic capacities, cartridge memory and are designed for long life and superior reliability.
