The Jameson Black Barrel is a blend of small batch grain and traditional Irish pot still whiskeys. These are then aged (matured) in a combination of American oak, sherry and double charred bourbon casks. Charring is an age-old method for invigorating barrels to intensify the taste. The resulting whiskey has a sweet and smooth taste, with a richer flavour than that of the regular Jameson. This is balanced with nutty, spice and vanilla notes. This made it winner of the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) Double Gold medal. This rich whiskey is a perfect gift offer for Christmas, dinner parties, birthdays, Father's Day, Mother's Day and other special occasions. It comes in a 70 cl (700 ml) bottle and has an alcohol content of 40% vol. About Jameson Founded in 1780 in Dublin, the Jameson distillery produces some of the finest Irish whiskeys in the world. They are made using triple distillation, a tradition started by founder John Jameson. This gives Jameson whiskeys their exceptionally smooth taste.

5ml 2:1 Sugar Syrup
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
3 Dashes Orange Bitters
Instructions
Build and stir all the ingredients in a double rocks glass, and garnish with a wedge of orange.
