Place the apple slices at the bottom of the glass and pour Chivas over them. Allow to stand for a few minutes. Since the early days of Black & White, two Scottish terriers (Black & White) have become iconic symbols of the brand . Black and White founder, James Buchanan, an ardent dog lover, supposedly got the idea for the iconic symbol on his way back from a dog show. The whiskies are matured in casks that started life as Bourbon barrels or Spanish sherry butts and have been previously used to mature Scotch.
