It can be used as one though when you get a 12volt battery with it and a solar panel or any 12volts charger as you may require.You do not need to depend on Public utility power to get this fan working. So you can get it working with any Qasa 12v batteries or any other 12 volts batteries in the market.
Very ideal in rural areas where access to power is a bit an uphill task.
All you need do is get a solar to the battery to have it charged and connect the battery to the fan. With this connection, you are guaranteed of your fan 247 access to power.

Besides the Gossamer Wind Technology blades, the energy efficiency of the SPACECIT solar DC Ceiling Fan results from a permanent magnet, TENV (totally enclosed non-ventilated) motor with long life brushes. SPACECIT solar DC Ceiling Fan draws 0.5 amps 12 V (only 6 watts) and 0.78 amps at 24 V. At 12 V the 3-blade fan will turn at approximately 102 rpm moving 1,476 cubic feet of air per minute when mounted at least 8 feet above the floor in an open room.
At 24 V the 3-blade fan will turn at approximately 138 rpm moving 3,925 cubic feet of air per minute when mounted at least 8 feet above the floor in an open room. For maximum efficiency use the optional Speed Control in conjunction with the SPACECIT solar DC Ceiling Fan. The Speed Control makes clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation possible. Without the Speed Control the fans operate at one speed determined by the input voltage. The Speed Control outputs an adjustable 12 to 30 volts DC from an input 12volts DC. It has a voltage control potentiometer with an on - off switch and an output voltage reverse switch to reverse the fan's direction. It is overload protected by input and output self-resetting fuses.

This Fan is a Non Rechargeable fan. it can be used as one though when you get a 12volt battery with it and a solar panel or any 12volts charger as you may require. It can be powered by a 12volts power (Battery) Bank. Very ideal for remote use. It can also be connected to your public power or geerator via the regulator.
You do not need to depend on Public utility power to get this fan working. It is compatible with either public utility power, solar panel of 12v or 15v, 12 volts DC power adapter or a 12 volts battery. So you can get it working with any Qasa 12v batteries or any other 12 volts batteries in the market. Very ideal in rural areas where access to power is a bit an uphill task. All you need do is get a solar to the battery to have it charged and connect the battery to the fan. With this connection, you are guaranteed of your fan 247 access to power. Do note that it is not recommended to use Solar panels bigger than 80 watts as damage could occur.
