The grapes used to make Segura Viudas Semi Seco, are grown in vineyards from many different parts of the region. In this way, we can use the specific attributes of each site to create a complex, balanced Champagne
& bull; The grapes are 100% hand-picked, and taken to the winery in 25kg capacity self-draining plastic boxes, to prevent them from splitting and the juice becoming oxidised, with a consequent loss of freshness. & bull; The grapes are pressed in whole bunches to retain their individual identity. The juice is naturally settled, over a 24 hour period to produce fruitier and more elegant wines. & bull; The blend is made from 8 different base wines to create the cuv & eacute;e for a Cava which will be harmonious, balanced, and suitable for aging. & bull; Both the first and second fermentations are done using our proprietary selected yeasts. These yeasts give structure, softness on the palate, more complex aromas (honey, dried fruits, flower petals), and a fine, elegant and long-lasting mousse. & bull; We age the wine a minimum of 15 months on the lees, in conditions of total darkness and calm, 20 metres below ground and at a constant, natural temperature between 14 and 16 & deg;C

Rosat Rose Wine - 75cl - Case Of 6 Bottles
Segura Viudas Rosat is a wine made from Tempranillo and Merlot. Harvest is done mechanically and at night, and it is transported in double-bottom trailers so that the must that is produced by the pressure is separated from the rest of the grapes. Only this must will be used. Once the harvest arrives at the winery, it is refrigerated at 12 & ordm;C. Then, it goes through a static settling process for the fermentation to begin at 16 & ordm;C. After the fermentation is finished, the wine is racked and left to stand for a month on its fine lees.
Segura Viudas Rosat 2017 is a zesty, smooth and elegant wine. Like every vintage, it stands out due its delicate nose, with aromas of fresh red fruit. On the palate it is light, lively and fresh.
