Frquently Asked Questions Some dripping is normal and is caused by condensation of steam, so there is no need to worry. Unplug the appliance. Move the filter holder handle left, till it reaches the front left corner of the appliance, then lower the filter holder from the brewing head. Empty the filter. Wait till they cool, then prise the filter out of the filter holder. Lift the cover off the drip tray. Slide the drip tray out Put a finger into the hole at the rear of the guard, and pull gently towards you and upwards, to release it. Hold the steam tube with a cloth, to protect your fingers from the heat, and pull the frother off the end. Clean the outside surfaces of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wash the removable parts in warm soapy water, rinse well, drain, and air dry. Lower the rear of the guard into place, then lower the front. Slide the drip tray into the bottom of the appliance. Replace the drip tray cover. Push the frother on to the steam pipe till the middle of the frother is troughly level with the top of the nut at the end of the steam pipe. Don & rsquo;t put any part of the appliance in a dishwasher.
