LNB abbreviation for 'LOW NOISE BLOCK' is the device on the front of a satellite dish that receives the very low level microwave signal from the satellite, amplifies it, changes the signals to a lower frequency band and sends them down the cable to the indoor receiver(decoder). This LNB can be used with all types of Decoders. So if you are not getting full signal level on your DStv decoder(or any other decoder type) you will need a new LNB to get that maximum signal level. Suitable for DStv decoder model 1110, 1131, 1132, H.D Zappa, Strong Decoder, Consat Decoder
