For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive or almond oil prior to use. After using essential oils, immediately close caps tightly to prevent any oxidation. For best results, store essential oils at room temperature and in the original bottle. You should avoid storing oils near any kind of heat, which includes cabinets over stove tops, areas with direct sunlight and area with excessive humidity like bathrooms.
Important: If you are pregnant or nursing, ask your healthcare provider before using Frankincense Essential Oil. Even though Frankincense Essential Oil is generally considered safe to apply undiluted to the skin, some people may have a negative reaction to it. Before using it, apply a drop diluted with a bit of olive oil to the inside of your elbow. If there is no reaction after 10 minutes, you are probably not hypersensitive to frankincense.
