For scanning, the 179fnw is equipped with an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed scanner, which allows scans up to 8.5 x 14" when using the ADF. Black copy speeds are a fast 18 cpm and color copy speeds are 4 cpm. Additionally, the printer can make up to 999 copies at a time.

The 179fnw connects to your computer via USB 2.0 and Ethernet for standard printing, or you can use its built-in Wi-Fi functionality for wireless direct printing.
