Active Ingredients
Artemether 80mg, Lumefantrine 480mg
Directions for use
To be taken in divided dose for 3 days. Take 1 tablet then 8 hours after another tablet. The following day, take 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at night (repeat this for the third day as well). Take preferably with a meal.
Side effects/Interactions/Allergies
Coartem may interact with these drugs to cause a reduced effect: antioxidant vitamins, rifampin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, and St. John’s wort.
