Milton has been sterilising babies utensils for over 50 years and is clinically proven to protect against all germs bacteria, viruses and fungi which can be harmful to your baby. Babies are at their most vulnerable, whilst they are developing their immune system, so it is important that feeding utensils are sterilised thoroughly until they are at least 12 months old. Ingredients Active ingredient: sodium hypochlorite 2 percent w/v, Milton sterilising fluid also contains amongst other ingredients: sodium chloride 16.5 percent w/v Directions Follow instructions carefully for best results. 1) Clean utensils thoroughly after each feed. Clean bottles and teats thoroughly with warm soapy water. Rinse with cold water. 2) Prepare Milton solution. Fill you Milton sterilising unit with cold water. For every 2.5 liters water, add 1/2 capful (15ml) of Milton fluid. 3) Completely immerse utensils. Ensure that no air bubbles are trapped inside the bottles/utensils. Items are ready to use after 15 minutes or can be left for 24 hours until you need to use them again. Wash your hands before removing utensils from the solution. Drain bottles and teats - not need to rinse. Fill bottles immediately and cover teats. Safety Warning Avoid prolonged contact with metal. Avoid contact with eyes, in the event of contact, rinse eyes with warm water. Do not inhale. Do not use in combination with other products as toxic gases may be released (chlorine). Milton may discolor fabric on contact. To open child safe cap, push tabs and unscrew. To re-seal, turn cap clockwise until a click is heard. Take care not to over-tighten. The Milton solution is harmless and leaves no unpleasant taste or odour, so there is no need to rinse after use - utensils are safe for your baby to use immediately. Directions For baby bottles and utensils, add 1/2 capful (15ml) of Milton fluid for every 2.5 liters of water (dilution at 0.6 percent v/v). Wash bottles and utensils before immersing items in the solution. They are disinfected and ready to use after 15 minutes. It is not necessary to rinse. Renew the solution after 24 hours. Follow the same method to disinfect fruit, salads and vegetables. Rinse with plenty of water after soaking for 15 minutes in the solution. For kitchen surfaces dilute 6 half caps (6 x 15ml) of Milton fluid in 5 liters of water (dilution at 1.8 percent v/v). Surfaces are disinfected after 15 minutes. It is not necessary to rinse. Safety Warning Keep away from children. In case of contact with the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and see a doctor. If swallowed see a doctor immediately and show him the packaging or label. Do not use in combination with other products as toxic gases may be released (chlorine).
