Peat Pellets allows for stronger root growth, easy transplanting, and cost savings vs. buying plants. The greenhouse humidity dome allows seeds to stay moist and time for germination. Our fine netting is derived from cornstarch, a renewable resource. The netting allows for root aeration and makes transplanting easy; plant pellet and all! The 42mm pellet size is perfect to give a little extra room for your larger blooming flowers and medium-sized vegetables. For larger-rooted veggies, move up to the 50mm pellet size. Peat is special because not only can it retain 20 times its weight in water (which helps keep fragile seedlings moist but not drowned), it also aerates and improves soil drainage allowing roots to breathe, grow and better absorb nutrients.
