Mnepv20 20a Dc Din Rail Mount Breaker
These breakers are rated to break the full rated load at the rated voltage repeatedly (when mounted in a Midnite Solar enclosure), with NO DAMAGE. Always use a properly sized breaker for disconnecting. The breakers have been evaluated by ETL to 150VDC. All of the NRTL listings apply also, making them suitable for the solar industry.

Battery Capacity Meter MNBCMS
The "S" version (MNBCMS) of the meter has an additional short wire attached. This wire is the "Switched lead" This feature allows the LEDS to be turned off while retaining the Battery Care memories. This wire should be connected through a fused switch to Battery positive. This is usually the ignition switch of a vehicle, but can also be any type of push button, or toggle switch.

Midnite Solar Surge Protection Device 300VDC 120/240 VAC MNSPD-300-DC
The MidNite Solar Surge Protective Device (MNSPD) is a Type 2 device per UL1449 rev3, designed for indoor and outdoor (NEMA 4X) applications. Newly engineered for DC electric systems (there is also an AC version now available for 120VAC only systems - see DOCUMENTS tab above for explanation between the two), it provides protection to service panels, load centers or where the SPD is directly connected to the electronic device requiring protection. This 300V DC model is ideal for off grid PV combiners and 120/240 VAC circuits.
Protection is achieved by reducing the clamping voltage to a safe level that your system can sustain without damaging any electronics in the system. The Midnite SPD's are mounted on the outside of a PV combiner and have blue LED's viewable from a distance that show your system is still protected from power surges. The MidNite SPD's are built to last. Each MNSPD is capable of clamping a 115,000 amp surge.
