A fine whisky of Japanese heritage, Tenjaku is a blend of selected unprocessed whiskies with its water source from natural springs in Japan. Tenjaku whisky is smooth with notes of dried fruits, with a slight spicy and sweet finish. This particular whisky is aged in bourbon casks for 3-5 years. The tasty blend, Tenjaku is made with corn and barley, and aged in American white oak bourbon barrels. The Japanese characters you can spot on the label translate to "hibari", more commonly known as the skylark. We reckon a Highball will showcase this one very well! To make The Balvenie DoubleWood, David Stewart MBE takes whisky that has spent at least 12 years in traditional whisky casks, American Oak ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads, and moves it to Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks for an additional nine months. The whisky is then transferred to large oak vessels called & ldquo;tuns & rdquo; for 3-4 months to allow the whiskies from individual casks to & ldquo;marry & rdquo;. The Balvenie DoubleWood single malt whisky gains its distinctive character from being matured in two different wood types. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt whisky. Camino is a tequila brand from Mexico, a region called `Tequila`. It is produced from a plant known as the Blue Agave. The distillery of Camino Real with its 70-year history of making tequila is located in the district of Jalisco in the city of Tequila in Mexico. The agaves used in making Camino Real grow in fields at 2,000 meters above sea level, hence the name Camino, i.e. & ldquo;high & rdquo; in Spanish. from Weber & ndash; a special kind of blue agave. Weber grows in the states of Jalisco, Nayarit, Michoacan and Guanajuato in Mexico and nowhere else. Tequila comes from the Mexican city of the same name. The city is located northwest of Guadalajara, and in the highlands of the central western Mexican state of Jalisco.
